For one of our clients we are searching for a Structural Designer. Who’s role will be to create new total design as well as improve and test design of current rotor blades to ensure constant product liability, development and improvement.
To conduct complex analyses in close collaboration with CEC engineering centre in India through calculation models and creative thinking within limitations of material constraints.
Estimates the costs, resources, and time required to conduct a design project and monitors performance during project.
Formulates calculations, specifications, and other technical documentation so that structural design can be translated in detailed design for prototype manufacturing.
Conducts reverse analysis from product to original design to identify errors in design and improves model through new calculations.
Analysis test results from the test centre in India.
Does suggestions for repair and adjustments to solve incidental as well as structural errors in production cycle.
Tests , in cooperation with all other departments, if new design can ben implanted in total aspects of production cycle, in terms of material, process and tooling requirements.
Prepares complete sets of documentation suitable for design assessment by certifications body.
Actively follows and stays up-to-date with (new) developments in wind energy.
Develops and maintains technical expertise on advances and innovations in research and science and science, as well as on materials.
University degree in mechanical engineering or related area;
At least 5 years of related working experience in international environment and a long experience in wind energy technology.
